Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

Summary: Hydrotopoly works fully offline. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. The information you enter — your course progress, tasks and journal — is stored only on your own device. We do not collect it, receive it, or send it anywhere.

Who we are

Hydrotopoly (“the app”) is published by John Soliveres, an individual developer and Italian Partita IVA freelancer. Contact: jg.soliveres93@icloud.com. This is the controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

What data the app stores

The app stores the following on your device only, using the operating system’s local storage:

This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not linked to your identity.

What we do not collect

Links to outside sources

Some lessons and the About screen link to public educational and safety websites (for example university extension services and government agencies). If you tap a link, your device’s browser opens that website, and that website’s own privacy policy then applies. We do not share any information with them.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience educational tool.

Your rights

Because your data stays on your device, you are in full control of it. You can erase all stored data at any time in More → Settings → Erase all local data, or by deleting the app. Under the GDPR you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure and complaint; since we hold no copy of your data, deletion on your device fulfils these. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data-protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Data transfers and retention

No data is transferred outside your device, so there are no international transfers. Data is retained only until you erase it or uninstall the app.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date, and reflect the change in the app’s privacy information on the App Store.
